This class is a steady (sthira), flowing (sukham) sequence of postures with particular emphasis on alignment of body, quality of breath and focus of mind.

Each class has a specific yogic theme or intention. For example: Building Tejas – our essence as fire and light. We then do a specific sequence of postures, pranayama and meditation to achieve this intention.

The class is approximately one hour of postures, we then relax for ten minutes, then sit for twenty minutes of pranayama and meditation.

I like to bring a light, joyful, focused quality to the class, allowing students to find their own balance as I guide them through the practice.
